Read intriguing memoirs and polish your writing skills while learning how to write your own story. In Autobiography: The Story of My Life, you will learn that everyone has a story, but some tales compel readers to finish while others induce yawns. Develop your writer’s voice by immersing yourself in a variety of individual stories while also studying sophisticated grammar applications. Then, turn your hand to writing personal stories, the clearest, most poignant form of communication.
This course covers literature, writing, grammar, and vocabulary and is worth one-half of a high school English credit.
This class is NEW and does not have a sample yet. Here is a sample of Mrs. Craven’s teaching in another class:
You’re my best teacher. – Esther T, English 2
Mrs. Craven, I just wanted to thank you for always having the class assignments up for the week by Monday. It really makes my week easier when I can schedule all class assignments at once. – Carolyn, English 2 and English B parent
“Gene and I were gone all day yesterday, so when we got home, I told her I got a message from you telling me she “”rocked”” English class yesterday. What a beautiful confident smile she gave me. Thank you for being such an encouragement to her. She has also loved the books she has read for class so far this year. She is not my reader, but she finished all the books early because she enjoyed them so much. She has asked for the rest of the books in the series. Blessings, Carolyn
