Calculus is where theoretical problems and practicality meet and are never separated. Calculus is designed for prospective math majors in college as well as students preparing for engineering, physics, business analysis, or the life sciences. This course will cover the topics and skills needed for college Calculus 1 and much of 2 (the same content as the AP test for Calculus AB).
I wanted to thank you for your engaging and simplistic approach to teaching math, your flexibility, and clear intent to educate my child as painlessly and drama-free as possible While Cierra prefers English, math has always been straightforward, uneventful and a subject in which Cierra was successful, until last semester.( I am still shaking my head on that one.) But anyway, thank you for agreeing to take Cierra mid-year. That was a HUGE gamble on your part. You have restored math to it’s prior and proper place, in Cierra’s world 🙂 You will have both Cierra, and my son Landon for next year. Thanks again.
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you for everything! For teaching, guiding, showing patience, listening, mentoring, and for sharing your passion for math. Marco has had an amazing year, and we are so grateful to you for providing such an outstanding class. It really has been quite pivotal in Marco’s high school experience!
John M (pre-calc and calculus) graduated yesterday! Wanted to share and say thank you! He’s going to study Civil Engineering at University of Texas at San Antonio. He loved your classes and I’m so thankful for your passion to teach!
I have struggled with math until I took your class! Thank you so much! I am submitting my Exam 5 Work and along with it I am submitting my answers to the daily discussion. Thank you so much for everything 🙂
Mrs. Glandon, I just have to tell you how much Cristian is enjoying your Calculus class!! He says its tough but he really enjoys it!! His words: “She sees everything as a puzzle and it makes it fun!!” Thank you!!
BTW, he seems to be really enjoying Government too!! He keeps telling me about the Condoleeza Rice book. Oh and today, I showed him the School House Rock about how a Bill becomes a Law…he got a kick out that.
Thank you so much for all of the time and love that you pour into each of your students, it makes such a big difference! I’m so thankful to be your student, and I hope that I can be as much of a blessing to you as you are to me! Your student, Katherine R
