Overwhelmed by world history? Need help teaching the Renaissance and Reformation? Join Emily Rudolph to earn a high school credit. With a Christian worldview of history, Mrs. Rudolph will explore artists, reformers, explorers, philosophers, kings, emperors, and scientists of the 15th-17th centuries that still influence us today. Students will be challenged both inside and outside of class with pretests, mapping exercises, timelines and/or Memory Cards, research projects, literature, quizzes, semester tests, and more to compliment all learning styles.
**If you wish to cover Creation through the Early Church, see History 1, which uses The Mystery of History, Volume I AND The Mystery of History, Volume II (MOH I & MOH II) in a single high school year.
She is very organized. The assignments are usually similar from week to week so the kids know what to expect but she does have variety to keep them from getting bored. The kids love Kahoot. At the beginning of the year she didn’t force the kids to participate on camera but they warmed up on their own and now love it participate. The kids say she’s fun and nice. She’s always on time for class and doesn’t have any background distractions.
