We are headed on an interactive hands-on trip through “Intro to Marine Science”. Have you ever been to a sea or an ocean? Have you ever seen an aquatic animal? We will be exploring the life and environment of aquatic animals such as whales, sharks, fish, sting rays, crustaceans, and many many more! In addition to our text, we will be learning through some live remote cameras, multimedia, and personal interviews at the National Aquarium in Baltimore, Maryland and maybe more!!! We will also be creating and presenting marine animal projects. Come join me for a “swim” with God’s beautiful aquatic creatures.
Our children are enrolled in a couple of classes at BIP this year. I am pleased to inform you after six years of homeschooling, we have a new excitement for science with attending Mrs. Fisher’s Intro to Marine Science. Specifically, the kids love having an open classroom with the instructor and students. Other courses we have been online with only offer the chat box. However, with the children being able to see, talk and engage online in class has sparked a new love for learning.
Mrs. Fisher was very punctual with her grading and correspondence with the kids. This has been by far their favorite class and I believe it’s because of the class interaction! They really felt part of a class and not just via a chat room.
The kids were able to interact and the teacher was bubbly.
We loved the virtual field trips she used to enhance the curriculum.
