Class Description

Psychology is one of the 1st courses most students will take in college. Even if they do not take a psychology class in college, modern psychology’s worldview perspectives permeate their other classes. The purpose of this class is twofold. First, students will have a basic knowledge of psychology’s subject matter. The course covers the topics one would expect in any introductory psychology class. Second, and most importantly, students will recognize and understand the worldview assumptions underlying modern psychology’s major theories and schools of thought. Students will be able to think about psychology from a Christian worldview perspective. They will understand that the Christian worldview is the most logical and meaningful worldview for understanding human psychology.
