This class, titled History 2, uses The Mystery of History, Volume III (MOH III) as its text.**
Overwhelmed by world history? Need help teaching the Renaissance and Reformation? Join Linda Lacour Hobar, author of The Mystery of History, for insightful and enriching online classes (live or self-paced) to earn a high school credit. With a Christian worldview of history, let Linda guide your student(s) into a meaningful look at the artists, reformers, explorers, philosophers, kings, emperors, and scientists of the 15th-17th centuries that still influence us today. As Linda writes, so she teaches with passion, warmth, and concern for historical accuracy. Students will be challenged both inside and outside of class with pretests, mapping exercises, timelines and/or Memory Cards, research projects, literature, quizzes, semester tests, and more to compliment all learning styles.
Our self-paced classes are specially designed for your student to work his or her way through material autonomously. Your student will have access to 3-4 content-rich instructional videos per week, as well as an assessment (quiz or test). Our expert course developers will also provide recommended activities and suggested homework for each week.
